WHO IS IT FOR

Made for 7 to 14 year-olds.
Made for players who want more than practice.

If your child already knows the ball is theirs and wants to get better at keeping it, they are ready.

Skills & Scrimmage is where players in Southern NH and Northern MA turn fundamentals into game skills: a clean first touch under pressure, beating a defender 1v1, passing to a teammate who is actually open, finishing when the chance comes. Then they use it, every week, in a scrimmage with a coach stopping play to teach.

Players are grouped by age so everyone competes at the right level:

  • Younger Group (Ages 7-10) builds technical skill, confidence on the ball, and a love for the game.

  • Older Group (Ages 10-14) builds game IQ, competitive edge, and the habits that carry into the next level.

Three kinds of kids show up. Grassroots graduates ready for the next step, town rec players who want more touches than one team practice a week gives them, and club players adding a night of technical work. All three fit.

You do not need a team, a position, or a plan. You need a kid who wants the ball more than they did last season.

WHAT A SESSION LOOKS LIKE

Every session runs on the same rhythm so players know what to expect and parents can see the progress week-to-week.

  • Warm up with the ball. Every player has one. Dribbling, juggling, quick feet to get moving.

  • Skill of the Week. First touch under pressure, 1v1 moves, passing lanes, finishing. Taught at game speed, not standing in a line.

  • Pressure it. Small-sided games built around the skill: 1v1 to goal, 3v3 possession, transition games. The skill has to hold up when someone is trying to take the ball.

  • Coached scrimmage. The back half of the hour is live play with a coach stopping it to teach. Younger group: keep the ball, be brave, try the move. Older group: positioning, decision-making, when to pass and when to go.

  • Wrap up. One thing to work on before next week. Players leave wanting to come back.

The same coaches who take players from U8 to college

WHY CHOOSE US

Become Elite Soccer runs teams from U8 through high school and sends players on to college programs. Skills & Scrimmage is taught by the same licensed coaches, using the same technical progressions our club players train on.

That matters at this age. Between 7 and 14 is when habits set. A player who learns to receive under pressure and scan before the ball arrives, from someone who coaches the game for a living, builds instincts that stick. A player who spends those years mostly running drills without a game at the end learns skills they never get to use.

There is no obligation to join the club, now or ever. One night a week fits alongside town soccer, another club, basketball, whatever else your kid is into. Plenty of families keep clinics as their whole soccer life. Others ask about a team when they are ready. Both are welcome, and we will never push.

What our families say

Every clinic runs on the same promise: coaches who know your kid's name and what they're working on. Our BES families say it best...

My 2 children were in the summer program and they enjoyed it to the fullest as well as they learned and improved a lot. They will return to the fall program. Coach Carl is positive, enthusiastic, supportive, trusting, focused, goal-oriented, knowledgeable, observant, respectful, patient with kids and a clear communicator.

I am very impressed with Become Elite Soccer. I signed my son up to continue learning new skills over the winter months. I wanted my son to learn better ball control and to build confidence on the field. This program has, by far, exceeded my expectations. It is so much fun to not only watch my son grow as an athlete but to also gain a better understanding of the game. The coaches take the time to explain to the kids what it is they are teaching them and why it is important to the game. All in all I am very happy we chose the Become Elite Soccer program.

My three youngest absolutely loved working with Coach Eddie over the summer. He did a great job of differentiating his teaching so that all ages could have fun and improve their soccer skills. Looking forward to enjoying more programs with BES in the future.
