Jonathan — Coach Bio

Jonathan brings a lifelong passion for the game and a well-rounded background that blends playing experience, coaching development, and a strong commitment to athlete safety. Raised in the Midwest, he began playing soccer at an early age and competed at multiple levels—from youth and high school to college, adult leagues, and even a ship’s team while serving in the U.S. Navy.

Education & Training
Jonathan attended Parkway West High School (Ballwin, MO) and continued his studies at Dordt College (Sioux Center, IA) and Saint Louis Community College (St. Louis, MO). He also completed the U.S. Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program as an Electrician’s Mate, a demanding program that shaped his discipline, focus, and leadership—qualities he brings to every training session.

Jonathan is committed to creating a safe, positive, and professional environment for all players. He holds:

  • Concussion Certificate

  • CPR Certification

Coaching Experience
Jonathan has coached in Massachusetts Youth Soccer since 2021, including:

  • West Newbury Youth Soccer (2021–2023)

  • Pentucket Youth Soccer (2023–Present)

Jonathan once scored 7 goals in a men’s indoor match—and he’s still playing today at 48, bringing firsthand experience, energy, and love for the sport to every player he coaches.
