Nickolas - Bio

Nick was born and raised in NH. Growing up locally has instilled a strong sense of community and reciprocity in Nick. He is passionate about not only teaching soccer but also the lifelong lessons that come along with it. For example, hard work, respect, family, perseverance etc.  Nick enjoys being a mentor and someone his peers can go to when they have questions or need support. Nick is also passionate and well versed in the unified and special Olympic community.  Throughout his life he has played at just about every level NH has to offer. Nick started his journey playing rec soccer and swiftly made his way through town, club, into high school then later into college.

Education & Training

Nick attended and graduated from Londonderry high school (Londonderry NH).

After High school Nick received his associates degree from NHTI Community college (Concord NH)

Nick is currently in school at SNHU (Manchester NH) in pursuits of a bachelor’s in psychology with plans to continue his education for a master’s degree.

Coaching Experience

All of Nick’s coaching up until this point has been volunteer work throughout high school and college.

Nick held free summer training in Hooksett for youth players from 2016-2018

Nick volunteered for 3 years (2017-2020) to coach Londonderry youth while in high school.

Nick coached/played unified basketball for 2 years where he later received the unified sports award.

Playing Experience

Nick’s playing career is diverse and has seen play at many different levels. Not just on the big pitch but also on the court playing futsal and, on the beach, playing beach soccer. Nick continues to play with the town team he grew up with on Monday nights after practice for his local men’s league.

Fun fact Nick’s town team played in club leagues, playing teams like seacoast united, GPS and FC stars and continued to dominate.

Alliance FC (Hooksett NH) While playing town soccer Nick also joined Alliance FC to get more days of practice and to advance further in competition.

Awards won: two years in a row second team all-state defender grades 10 and 11, honorable mention grade 12, team defensive MVP grades 11 and 12

Awards: Three-year captain, Three-year team defensive MVP, YSCC all conference player 2022

A Fun “Claim to Fame”

Nick and his town team won the Boston beach soccer tournament 2 years in a row

Nick and this same team won the U.S. youth futsal northeast regional tournament In Boston in 2020. Unfortunately, nationals in Florida were cancelled due to Covid 19. However, it’s a running joke on our team that the competition was just scared to face the small-town Hooksett boys on the futsal court.
